Assuming you’ve read the previous post and came up with some thoughts of your own… Let’s ask ourselves again, why are we busing the children? Last time I checked, somewhere down the line, our schools became segregated again, except we’ve changed the term to “school districts”. I don’t believe I need to say more on that, because we all know how that works.
Now ask yourself what are the pros and cons of ending busing?
Please feel free to post a reply!!!
While driving into work today there were so many school buses, in a 3 block radius, picking children up for school. Keep in mind that most of these children were in the same age group. So I ask, why are we, the tax payers, transporting these children all across the city?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the whole purpose of the buses, to put an end to segregation?
I’m going to leave you with those thoughts and let you come up with your own deductions….
So I figured I’d give you guys all of me… You’ve got the sensitive poet and the straight laced stickler for the rules.
